Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SMT Machine Operator to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for the precise operation and maintenance of our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality electronic components. This role requires both technical expertise and a keen eye for detail to manage automated and manual processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and adjust SMT equipment, including the Solder Paste Printer, Pick & Place Machine, Reflow Oven, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Machine.
  • Load and unload components onto feeders with minimal loss or damage.
  • Interpret work instructions, bills of materials, and assembly drawings accurately.
  • Conduct quality inspections at each production stage to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Manually place components when necessary to meet design specifications.
  • Evaluate the quality of solder prints and component placements, making adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with technical staff to ensure process controls and product standards are met.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Report operational issues promptly and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
