QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma or GED. Some College course work preferred. Ability to read and write English fluently.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two (2) years leadership experience preferred
- Has a well-rounded understanding of the operation, it’s various departments, and how they impact one another. Picking & packing experience preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Equipment Operator experience preferred
Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain on feet for the majority of work hours. Must be able to constantly reach and handle objects, and frequently utilize hands for fine finger manipulation. Must be able to exert force of 50-100 pounds occasionally, 20-25 pounds of force frequently or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Job Summary:
Trains, coaches and directs warehouse associates in the movement of parts through the department within specified productivity, cost, and quality standards. Monitors and reports work performance of warehouse associates in assigned area of responsibility. Assists supervisor in maintaining training program and presents suggestions on qualified trainers and other training requirements. Documents and reports personnel issues and incidents to supervisor and/or manager on Performance Journal. Attends all required leadership training classes. Provides suggestions and ideas as required. Assists supervisor and/or manager in the development of goals and objectives and serves as section leader by promoting teamwork and cooperation of warehouse associates to effectively achieve established goals. Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
