Position Title: Assistant Nurse Manager - Endoscopy Services
Location: Kissimmee, FL
Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to support our endoscopy services team in Kissimmee. The Assistant Nurse Manager will play a key role in coordinating patient care, promoting staff development, and ensuring operational efficiency within the endoscopy department. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated nurse leader to contribute to the delivery of high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Endoscopy Administrator in overseeing day-to-day operations of the endoscopy services department, including patient flow, staffing, and equipment maintenance.
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, safety protocols, and infection control measures.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs, address concerns, and ensure compliance with established standards of care.
- Assist with staff recruitment, orientation, and ongoing education to enhance clinical skills and competency.
- Serve as a resource for staff, patients, and families regarding procedural and post-procedure care, pain management, and discharge planning.
- Able to prepare the patient ready for procedures when needed
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in endoscopy or gastroenterology nursing, with progressive leadership responsibilities.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology platforms.
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and evidence-based practice.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and industry best practices related to endoscopy services.
