Your Role and Responsibilities
POSITION AVAILABLE
Cloud Quality Engineering Consultant, IBM Corporation, Dallas, TX (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Develop and execute test scripts to support the overall solution release process as per the projects. Interact day to day with business users to gather business requirement and translate to processes. Provide end user support across UAT, SIT and end to end testing. Maintain and manage quality as per defined market standards to meet customer expectation on the SLA's defined. Work independently on complex issues, as well as collaborate efficiently with experts to anticipate issues that impact customer success. Work on various releases inclusive of application updates, version upgrades, security improvements, infra changes, data migrations. Test and implement SAP, digital and cloud integration. Create and maintain end-to-end integration tests between SAP and digital domains. Define SLAs and in review functional specifications and designs for meeting SLAs. Create and improve automated tools to streamline the QA and CI workflows. Derive test strategy based on user requirements, ensure that test plans are on track, work closely with product, development, and support teams. Improve the stability, efficiency, and coverage of automated tests. Conduct regular follow-ups on the on-premises and cloud applications quality, identify issues and provide adequate reporting. Analyze the project requirements and propose functional, regression, performance scenarios for test. Utilize SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, JAVA, Tableau, Qlik, Eclipse, PL/SQL, JIRA, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Cloud Quality Engineer, Software Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, JAVA, Tableau, Qlik, Eclipse, PL/SQL, JIRA, AWS, ABAP. $147,475.08 to $166,100.00 per year. Full time. WJ164.
