Production Supervisor - Evening Shift

Position Summary:

• The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for the assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of the entire brewing/packaging processes.
• The Production Supervisor will oversee the production shift, supervise coffee packaging, and maintain a safe work environment.
• The Production Supervisor will work closely with the management team to ensure that the processing remains consistent and that coffee production goals are met.
• This is a key position at the brewery and carries much responsibility. This person must ensure that the production produces high-quality products, on time and on budget.

Essential Job Functions:

• Oversee production shift start to finish
• Manage production shift schedules
• Coordinate liquid movements with facility, canning, processing, storage, retort
• Maintain quality, food safety and staff safety
• Continually improve production processes and quality
• Enforce occupational health and safety standards
• Ensure facility cleanliness throughout the shift

Minimum Position Qualifications:

• 3+ years managing a production line
• Demonstrates the ability to drive improvements
• Experience managing a production team
• Ability to work well with others and communicate issues in a timely manner
• Ability to complete tasks in timely manner
• Capable of lifting 40lbs. and capable of regularly moving 150lbs by pallet jack
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Must always wear personal protective equipment
• Participates actively in facility safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions
• Ability to work a schedule of (5) full 8-hour workdays per week, with the flexibility to occasionally work nights and weekends as needed
