Plastic Machining/Interstate Plastics is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative in our Portland, OR office.

Plastic Machining Company offers custom machining for parts that meet the demands of nearly any application. PMC replaces metal power transmission components and wear parts in commercial and industrial equipment. We are one of the PNW’s leading CNC plastics machine shops focusing on Industrial Plastics.

Summary:

Sell a broad line of machined and fabricated industrial plastics and materials across a large customer base generated through our e-commerce division, while providing a top notch customer service experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Give price quotations for our products and services with a view to maximize margins
• Process and close customer transactions such as orders, quotes, returns, etc.
• Plastic application and solution selling

Requirements:

• Some business experience
• Knowledge of power transmission products and machining technologies is preferred
• Previous high-volume industrial sales experience preferred
• Strong phone, computer skills, and math skills required
• Outgoing and positive attitude
