Responsibilities:

• Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code using best software development practices.
• Develop visually appealing websites by implementing new designs using modern HTML/CSS and associated frameworks and libraries.
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Create and maintain software documentation to ensure the scalability and maintainability of our websites.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to enhance our operations and activities.
• Collaborate with our designer to align the visual design intent with the website's development.
• Maintain, expand, and scale our websites to meet growing demands.

Requirements

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing websites and/or web applications, preferably with exposure to SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database systems.
• Excellent programming skills and in-depth understanding of modern HTML/CSS/JS and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with PHP, WordPress, Laravel/TALL stack, or similar languages and frameworks, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Solid understanding of web application functionality, including security, session management, and best development practices.
• Proficiency in Git and version control.
• General networking and server management skills relevant to web development.
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
• Proven problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within defined timelines and budgets.

Nice-to-Haves (or an eagerness to learn the following):

• Python development.
• Development and maintenance of data pipelines.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly BigQuery and Google Cloud Functions.
• DBT Core and data transformations/data modeling.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
