Job Description

DCI Donor Services (DCIDS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives!! Our mission at DCIDS is to save lives through organ and tissue donation, and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work!! We want a power player to join our team in the role of Communications Coordinator with expertise in content development and project management. The ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats are a must.

For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.

DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

  1. Create multimedia content for publications including company website, intranet, print media, and marketing materials.

  2. Manage internal communications system (DSTNY) to engage and recognize employee activities, company initiatives, celebrations, and support strategic communications.

  3. Manage the voice of the company across multiple locations.

  4. Develop and maintain Language and Use Guide. Ensure adherence to corporate brand standards.

  5. Coordinate virtual and onsite events.

  6. Assist with vendor management and orders for print and marketing materials.

  7. Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 – 3+ years prior experience in marketing/communications/content creation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and multitask.
  • Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
  • Demonstrated writing abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to creatively approach marketing and outreach.
