Warehouse Shipping Clerk/Sales Administrator

CGX is looking for a Shipping/Admin Clerk for a part-time position.

Major responsibilities of the Shipping Clerk/Admin position include (but not limited to):

• Preparing hand samples for distribution to customers and sales force. Hand cutting and trimming and matching with specification sheets.
• Setting up price sheets and processes for new products.
• Monitoring inventory of sales literature which may include ordering supplies as needed.
• Placing & taking customer sales calls.
• This position would also entail working in the warehouse, which includes unloading/loading trucks with a forklift, picking boxes and material for shipment, stacking & reorganizing as needed. This is a daily requirement.
• Strapping and wrapping pallets for freight shipments.
• Preparing shipment paperwork by using QuickBooks accounting software. This includes creating invoices, pack slips, bills of lading and emailing invoices.
• Completing excel spreadsheets noting daily shipments.
• Completing simple admin duties as required

Desirable Qualifications for the Shipping Clerk/Admin position:

• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize tasks.
• Highly organized and offers exceptional attention to detail.
• Must be comfortable working in a small team environment, where job responsibilities may shift, and flexibility is required.

Hours for the Shipping Clerk position:

The hours would initially be Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 8 hours/day. Must be able to fill in for Operations Manager when he is out on vacation, days off, illness & other scheduled time off. Working hours may be flexible other than substituting for the Operations Manager.
