We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Safety Manager to join our team and oversee safety protocols on our job sites. This position requires an OSHA 30 certification and offers a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $80,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures specific to electrical construction sites in accordance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and assess compliance with safety standards.
- Provide safety training and education to employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to promote awareness and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other personnel to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Maintain safety records and documentation, including incident reports, training records, and inspection findings.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to electrical safety.
Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 certification is required.
- Previous experience in construction safety management, with a focus on electrical work, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and other relevant safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate others.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, engineering, or a related field is desirable but not required.
