Role Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant at LVT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, proficiency in financial analysis, and a keen eye for detail. As a Senior Accountant at LVT you will be responsible for the monthly accounting close cycle, journal entries, account reconciliations, and sales tax compliance. The quality candidate is dependable and responsible, with a strong work ethic, that thrives in both individual and teamwork landscapes. Must have the ability to learn quickly and willingness to take on new challenges. Responsibilities:

• Financial reporting: Help prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support for audit inquiries.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Sales tax reporting: Oversee the processing of sales tax returns and ensure ongoing compliance with each state.
• Compliance: Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting roles, with demonstrated progression in responsibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Netsuite, Acumatica).
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP and experience in financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
