Senior Construction Superintendent

• Job will be a minimum 3 year duration

Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities. 

• Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget and with quality workmanship that complies with the plans and specifications.

• Maintain a CPM construction schedule, identify and report problems to project manager and suggest possible solutions to resolve problems.

• Must demonstrate the leadership and initiative needed to execute the project.

• Must demonstrate solid organizational and management skills. 

• Knowledge and experience in construction administration, submittals, change orders, RFI’s and plan revisions. 

• Responsible for supervision of company personnel and equipment. 

• Responsible for the coordination, supervision, and performance of subcontractors as it relates to contract work. 

• Knowledge of construction documents, construction process documentation and subcontractor and consultant relationships. 

• Must maintain control of the site, security, access, and safety (including safety inspections, meetings, etc.) 

• Maintain detailed daily job reports consisting of man count, work completed, issues, inspections, daily progress photos, notes, safety, etc. 

• Conduct weekly staff meetings to ensure timeliness and quality of work. 

·       Must be proficient in Procore

Requirements: 
• A minimum of 10 years of construction management experience as a superintendent for a general contractor.

Education or equivalent training typically found in a 4-year degree. Candidate must possess all-round construction knowledge with experience in mid- rise, mixed-use, hi-rise multi-family buildings and in the means/methods of concrete and steel construction.

• Works well in high pressure situations 
• Uses a systematic approach to prioritize and execute tasks to achieve results. 
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities. 
• Professionally and technically competent

• Valid Florida driver’s license. 
• Experience in MS Project/ Procore/PlanGrid / MS Office /Excel
