Compensation: $67,000-$83,000 + three performance bonuses per year!
Location: Minneapolis, KS

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a company experiencing exponential growth with an eye to the future.  The Technology Manager will play an integral role on the Technology team by addressing all service issues, maintaining proper software and hardware updates, maintaining and enhancing system security, while supporting the development of their direct reports. Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and document company workstations and peripherals; as well as company networks, both onsite and remote
• Implement and maintain database and user interface applications that are intuitive and user friendly to support work functions
• Backup of primary operating systems and company files per company specifications
• Maintain operation of company servers, networks, and database systems and will ensure that system performance is maintained during business and off hours
• Document workstation, networking, switching, routing, telephones, and mobile devices including performing tuning, security configuration, and disaster recovery
• Assess resource needs for the function and prioritize work for team based on company’s highest needs and return on time spent
• Meet with direct reports weekly and ensure all team members are receiving tools and resources to effectively grow and develop over time
• Identify heavy workload of team and take on service desk responsibility in time of high need
• Lead assigned projects in a timely and complete manner that optimize profits, while conforming to all industry, regulatory, quality, and policy standards
• Maintain open lines of communication with the project department’s management staff regarding the status of projects and escalate issues and risks
• Train end users on self-directed troubleshooting for system issues
• Perform all other related duties as required or directed

Ideal Qualifications:

• Experience with network and firewall administration
• Experience managing on-premises servers, storage area networks (SAN), and network-attached storage (NAS) devices
• Experience managing VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and VMs
• Familiarity with software platforms including Microsoft 365 (e.g., Power BI), and Azure Cloud
• Evidence of successful systems and process design development and implementation. Track record of benchmarked operational excellence or peer recognition of network and security development by a team
• Be able to design, recruit, develop, train, and build teams, processes, and information that function effectively and cooperatively. The individual must serve as a mentor, coach, director, teacher, trainer and leader, and have a demonstrated track record of success in building work teams and information databases that execute to high standards of effectiveness and results
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
