Summary of Position:
The Power Tool Repair Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing tooling equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order and ready for use. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise, making necessary adjustments and modifications, and ensuring that all safety standards are met. The Power Tool Repair Technician will also be responsible for maintaining the tool crib performing duties in the areas of inventory tracking and ordering in the areas of PP&E, power tool supplies, and power tool maintenance. Associate will rely on production volume and manpower numbers to maintain sufficient inventories to support customer needs. The Power Tool Repair Technician will be responsible for communicating daily needs as well as implementing crib improvements to support lean initiatives. All duties will be performed to meet organizational needs that support (S.Q.D.C.M.) metrics. A certain degree of latitude and self-motivation is required to perform at this position. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Operations Value Stream Maintenance Group Leader with considerable leeway to exercise strengths and independent judgment through completed training and job experience.
· *Assist Plant Maintenance with Any Tooling Start Up Concerns
· *Validate Daily Socket Checks & Back Up Tooling Readiness with Production Leads
· *Perform Power Tool Maintenance & Repair
· *Maintain & Replenish Power Tool Service Inventories
· *Monitor And Communicates Systemic Tooling Concerns with Appropriate Parties
· *Monitor Non-Production Inventories and Generates Required Purchase Requisitions to Replenish
· *Support Launch Build Events with Necessary Handheld Power & Back Up Tooling
· *Investigate DC Tooling Related Torque Concerns with Process Engineering
