Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary

As the Marketing Coordinator at Francis King, you will deliver inspirational marketing to the interior design community. More specifically, you’ll manage the detailed work in executing our campaign strategies across all channels. In this role, you will help strengthen and promote Minnesota’s largest to the trade home furnishing showroom.

This position will report from our Minneapolis based showrooms, located within the historic International Market Square.

Primary Responsibilities

Marketing Coordination & Execution

• Design and implement marketing strategies that drive traffic and/or brand recognition
• Develop, coordinate and execute marketing campaigns
• Help curate images for planned campaigns
• Make necessary changes to Francis King’s website to reflect timely updates in sync with active marketing campaign objectives
• Coordinate the production of marketing materials, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and meet quality standards
• Manage updating and implementation of collateral pieces such as: flyers, posters, showroom signage, e-signatures, website product promotion pages etc…
• Coordinate logistics for promotional events and other marketing activities
• May be required to staff occasional offsite events as needed
• Work closely with vendors, manage timelines and ensure all event-related tasks are completed efficiently

Tracking & Reporting

• Leverage our project management software to track and report on the status of active marketing campaigns
• Track sales data against campaigns to assist in the management and monitoring of ROI on all marketing activities
• Document, organize and distribute campaign details for email, paid digital, print, catalogs, website and blog
• Collect data about target demographics and analyze market trends to improve marketing efforts
• Maintain quarterly campaign strategy documents with the latest details and results
• Regularly provide management with closed loop analytics and metric reports on insights gained from social media monitoring (Facebook Insights etc..)

Digital/Social Influence

• Create successful social media campaigns to grow Francis Kings audience
• Design landing pages for social media campaigns
• Write SEO friendly content for Francis King website landing pages
• Identify opportunities to guest blog and invite guest bloggers to participate in our brand
• Responsible for posts to all social media outlets

Brand Management

• Ensure consistent messaging and establishing brand standards across the organization on all platforms/communication vehicles
• Work closely with the Sales and Merchandising teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives
• Work with our Merchandising team to gather necessary product details and to stay informed on the latest product releases and anticipate how it will impact campaigns
• Liaise with third-party vendors and strategic partners to design and execute creatives as necessary

Professional Development

• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and product lines, staying informed of new products and utilizing opportunities to further educate self, team members and customers
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth as well as propose innovative social media strategies
• Actively collaborate with all internal departments and communicate openly and effectively
• All other duties as identified and assigned by management

Essential Education, Skills & Experience

• 4-year degree in marketing or related field or applicable work experience
• 2 years of experience working within a marketing team or similar creative setting
• Creative, with an eye for design and visual presentation
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines
• Ability to be creative and analytical while simultaneously seeing the “big picture”
• A natural relationship builder, eager to be a part of a team
• Excellent communicator, in writing and in conversations

Preferred Experience

• Passionate about design and home furnishings
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
• Familiarity with tools like HTML, CCS, JavaScript, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Understanding of SEO/SEM
