Assembly Technician

We are seeking detail-focused Assembly Technicians to put together mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic products.

Pay starts at $28.00 per hour, operating on 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm. Employees are eligible to enroll in our Medical, Dental, Vision, and other benefit plans after 60 days of employment.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED; preference given to vocational school graduate
• Experience in equipment assembly preferred
• Solid mechanical skills and comfortable with hand tools and light power tools
• Ability to comprehend Engineering drawings (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic) and work instructions
• Basic computer skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
• Moves materials weighing up to 50 pounds

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling a variety of products, from relatively simple devices to complex units. Working both in teams and individually, the Assembly Technician will apply basic mechanical skills to learn to assemble increasingly complex devices as they gain experience. The Assembly Technician is also crucial to our Quality Control efforts, making certain that the products we ship are assembled carefully, work flawlessly, and look great.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products per routings, work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Troubleshoot assembly challenges
• Work closely with department lead to offer suggestions, and seek advice as needed
• Work closely with our technicians and engineers to learn how to build our equipment
• Work safely at all times
• Other duties, as assigned
