Description

Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pre-treatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.

Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking a General Assembly Technician (Mechanical/Electrical) responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of equipment to ensure proper operation and quality standards are met.

General Assembly Technician(Mechanical/Electrical) Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex wiring layouts
  • Set up and testing of system components
  • Communicating problems and quality control issues to co-workers and managers
  • Keeping work area clean and organized
  • Operating a forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment to load and ship products

Other General Assembly Technician (Mechanical/Electrical) Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC wiring
  • Basic understanding of electrical prints
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Prepping assemblies mechanically and electrically
  • Bending EMT conduit
  • Installation of wire basket and cables
  • General use of hand tools
  • Willing to travel on a limited basis

Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactorily pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.  DUI, reckless driving, or excessive at-fault accidents may be disqualifying.
