Description:

The New England College of Optometry (NECO) invites applications to join the professional staff as an attending optometrist and clinical faculty. We are seeking a non-tenure, clinical track faculty doctor who has a keen interest in providing clinical care at both Codman Square Community Health and North End Health Center in Boston, combined with laboratory teaching and precepting optometry students in the Vision Screening service for a full-time faculty position. This person should have a desire to teach tomorrow's optometrists the principles of optometric and interdisciplinary care.

Our mission is to improve the vision and eye health of populations through excellence in collaborative and community-oriented patient care, service, education, and research. A NECO optometrist is an exceptionally qualified doctor of optometry and clinician-educator who works in a dynamic team-oriented, multidisciplinary non-profit eye care network serving the vision and eye health needs of populations in greater Boston. Clinical attending optometrists are also faculty members that have teaching appointments with NECO, and thus advance both the service and teaching missions of the institution.

NECO is an Equal Opportunity employer and encourages all qualified candidates to apply.
