Sales and Estimator Assistant

Our client, a leader in the in the commercial flooring business, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and focused Sales & Estimator Assistant to answer incoming calls and research, screen and respond to bid opportunities from contractors and direct customers. This role supports the Sales and Estimating team to keep the sales process organized and responsive to all of their clients.

As a solution-oriented self-starter, our client requires the person to possess strong organizational and communication skills with a high degree of confidence. Supporting the team on bids, both small and large with varying levels of project specialization, this role will ensure an agile and seamless process from the start to close of the proposal/acceptance process. Through prompt, positive communication with customers, this role will drive growth in the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer incoming phone calls; direct to the appropriate staff.
• Review and respond to incoming leads from websites, emails, and calls.
• Download and mark-up projects for review at bi-weekly OTQ meetings.
• Maintain weekly sales reports, sales meeting notes and the OTQ report.
• Chair meeting in the Sales department.
• Assist in preparing projects for handoff to Operations and chairing handoff meetings.
• Obtain material pricing and lead times for Estimators.
• Assist in basic takeoffs and cost estimate preparation to support Sales team.
• Admin support to commercial Sales team including proposal preparation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills including managing deadlines and working under pressure.
• Demonstrated values upholding honesty, loyalty and accountability within the workplace and with all business stakeholders.
• Proven track record of commitment follow-through.
• Demonstrated positive communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service is paramount!
• Attention to detail, efficient data-entry accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft office & CRM software (e.g. Pipedrive)
• Math skills
• Personal accountability for work
• Reliable transportation
• Professional dress code, appropriate hygiene (Business Casual)
• Must be able work onsite in Clackamas, Monday – Friday, 7:30am-5pm.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Base Pay - $55,000.00-$65,000 annually
• Healthcare Insurance – 100% individual coverage
• Vacation pay: 2 weeks per year (includes vacation and sick time)

LOCATION: 100% In office position, Clackamas
