Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of specialized equipment or systems within the organization. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Additional responsibilities include:

1. General Duties: Commercial and industrial electrical wiring and conduit bending, mechanical skills, industrial machine installation, parts fabrication, pipe threading, plumbing, and carpentry.
2. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Sev-rend equipment or systems to ensure their optimal performance and longevity.
3. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with Sev-rend equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance, and report them to relevant stakeholders.
5. Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with equipment, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure seamless operations.
7. Training: Stay updated on new technologies and equipment advancements through training and certifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical education or certification may be preferred).
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Machinist skills are a plus.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in challenging environments, if required.
