PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years. PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction.
Manufacturing Maintenance Manager
The Newark, CA plant is currently accepting resumes for a Maintenance Manager. This position is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability and operational uptime. You'll manage maintenance teams, optimize preventive maintenance programs, and partner with operations to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
What is the Job?
  • Manages the Maintenance Department.
  • Investigates and troubleshoots all plant equipment.
  • Oversees process of procurement parts and inventory.
  • Scheduling and executing maintenance activities for plant to maximize availability of equipment.
  • Determines when shutdowns are necessary and estimates downtime.
  • Directs repair procedures and assists in defining extent of problem.
  • Plans and prepares work and shut down schedules.
  • Works with key plant personnel to accomplish maintenance schedule.
  • Communicates with vendors and manage facility projects.
  • Upholds the company values through training, coaching and counsel of personnel.
  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
  • All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical preferred.
  • Five years+ industrial experience in engineering and management, preferred.
  • Management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.

What is the Pay?
  • $140,000 - $150,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience.

What is the Work Schedule?
  • Our facility operates 24 hours Monday - Friday but can operate 24/7.
  • This role is critical in supporting the plant, even in the off shifts, if there are upset conditions.
  • Flexibility in the working schedule is required.
