Astrix is seeking experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations at a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in New Albany, OH. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant production operations.

Type: 1 year contract
Schedule:Day Shift or Night Shift Available
- Training Schedule: Approximately 2 months, Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Regular Schedule (After Training):
- Day Shift, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, 12-hour shifts, working 3-4 days per week
- Night Shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, working 3-4 days per week
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Support the installation, startup, testing, and maintenance of manufacturing and support equipment.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in accordance with company procedures, cGMP requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in an inspection-ready state.
- Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately following cGMP guidelines.
- Utilize CMMS systems (Maximo preferred) to create, update, and close maintenance work orders.
- Coordinate contractors for equipment repairs, modifications, and installations.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams on equipment improvements and new system installations.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and documentation.
- Participate in all required safety and cGMP training while maintaining assigned qualifications.
Qualifications
- Associate degree with 4+ years of maintenance experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of maintenance experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience required.
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting experience with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment.
- Working knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, lubrication systems, and industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and SOPs.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Maximo.
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Basic computer proficiency.
