Job description

Shift: $35 - $45/hr.,DOE; 2 PM - 10:30 PM EST, Mon to Fri, 12 Months Contract W2
The Maintenance Technician provides comprehensive support for plant operations and production equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems within a manufacturing environment while supporting Quality, Service, GMP, and cost objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve day-to-day technical issues on production lines.
  • Repair and maintain machinery, batching/processing equipment, and plant systems to meet process specifications.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, building systems, and production line systems.
  • Troubleshoot using PLC (Programmable Logic Control) systems and interpret blueprints/schematics.
  • Maintain systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, lubrication, and fabrication components.
  • Support chillers, refrigeration equipment, and high-pressure water systems (preferred).
  • Safely operate forklifts and high reach equipment (lift certification required).
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and document work.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety standards, and production procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED (Associate/Technical degree preferred).
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Strong skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of PLC, mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Prior welding experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass Maintenance Technician (Tech 1) assessment.
