Experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic

About Cresline Plastic Pipe Co., Inc.

Cresline Plastic Pipe Co., Inc. is an established nationwide manufacturer seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our plant located in Henderson, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as perform regular preventive maintenance on our production equipment.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems.  
  • Replace defective parts and components as needed.  
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential equipment issues.  
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.  
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.  
  • Must be able to work any 8-hour shift, with flexibility for on-call or overtime work as needed.  
  • Must be able to speak, read, and communicate fluently in English.  
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy equipment.  
  • Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety procedures.  
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a manufacturing maintenance mechanic or industrial experience with mechanical and electrical systems.  
  • Strong mechanical, electrical (systems and controls), hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.  
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.  
  • Hands-on welding and machine shop experience.  
  • Relevant trade certificates.  
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, communication, and teamwork skills.  
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
