Maintenance Manager

Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager oversees the daily, hands-on facilities operations of an assigned school building. This role ensures the building is safe, clean, functional, and ready to support a high-quality learning environment. The Maintenance Manager works on-site and reports to the Facilities Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day building operations, maintenance, and custodial activities

  • Perform and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance

  • Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems; troubleshoot issues as needed

  • Respond promptly to facility issues and emergencies

  • Coordinate vendors and contractors for repairs and services

  • Support room setups, events, and daily school operations

  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and facility standards

  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for facilities-related needs
