An opportunity to work for a genuine market leader in solutions development for the intralogistics market, specialising in the design, installation & management of highly automated and intelligent facilities as they search for a Site Operations Manager to join the business and lead this facility. You will play a key role in building up the site, processes and teams though ensuring smooth day to day running of the high-volume facility from a Maintenance perspective.

Alongside the salary, you will also receive 401k, medical, dental and life insurance, as well as aperformance bonus and a 120hr holiday allowance โ€“ with no vesting on insurances.

Site Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
  • You will be the key interface for the on-site client, with responsibility for building and maintaining a strong working relationship and ensuring the site is delivering against the customers KPIโ€™s/SLAโ€™s.
  • Ownership over the site budget.
  • Leadership over the onsite teams. Maintenance, Software & Inventory. Building out teams across all functions with responsibility for overseeing the interview and hiring process through the ongoing day to day management of teams once the site is live.
  • Oversee all relevant training needs of staff to ensure safe operation of facility. Supporting their continued development through training programs.
  • Delivering against key performance indicators that are defined with customer goals in mind, tracking and reporting delivery.
  • Develop, define and implement all SOPโ€™s for a highly automated facility.
  • Oversee all onsite installation and commissioning projects.
  • Creating a continuous improvement culture, one that uses lean methodologies and allows the site to identify areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for ensuring the site understands and is following health & safety policies.
  • Reporting on technical activities, SLAโ€™s and commercial details to internal teams and the customer.
  • Creating and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs for automated machinery.
  • Through direct reports, plan and allocate day to day tasks with SLAโ€™s in mind.
  • Responding to emergency calls as required.
Experience & requirements for the role:
  • Eligibility to work in the USA.
  • Previous experience in an Operations Management role (focus on Maintenance), or an experienced Maintenance Manager.
  • Worked within an industrial setting โ€“ production, manufacturing, automated warehousing.
  • Management, mentoring and motivation experience over large scale teams โ€“ 20+.
  • Knowledge of automated machinery, with experience in developing maintenance programs.
  • Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis & Maintenance KPIโ€™s such as MTTF, MTTR, PM Completion for example.
