Biweekly Hours: 80.00
Shift: 7:30a-5:30 flexible per operational needs
The MetroHealth System is redefining health care by going beyond medical treatment to improve the foundations of community health and well-being: affordable housing, a cleaner environment, economic opportunity and access to fresh food, convenient transportation, legal help and other services. The system strives to become as good at preventing disease as it is at treating it. Founded in 1837, Cuyahoga County's safety-net health system operates four hospitals, four emergency departments and more than 20 health centers.
Summary:

Supervises assigned Patient Service Representatives and facilitates the accurate and efficient patient registration flow throughout the MetroHealth system. Draws from knowledge of computer applications, organizational and departmental functions, and principles of leadership and education to complete responsibilities. Provides direction and support for staff, promotes staff development, and collaborates with leadership to ensure the completion of goals and strategies
Qualifications:
Required:
Associate's degree in business or related area or In lieu of degree, any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to below will be considered.
Five years of related experience in a healthcare environment.
Strong quantitative skills, including knowledge of personal computers and information systems.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong leadership, teaching, mentoring, and customer service skills.
Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team. Evidence of continuing professional self-development.
Willing to work assigned job and over-time requirements (i.e., days, evenings, weekends) if needed.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred:
Associate's degree in a related field Two years of experience supervising staff.
Knowledge of EPIC functionality.
Physical Demands:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day.
May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
Ability to communicate face-to-face, via phone, email, and other communications.
Ability to see computer monitor and departmental documents.
