Job description

Responsibilities for a Logistics Specialist include but are not limited to:
• Track and trace assigned freight from processing through delivery, ensuring shipments remain on schedule and providing accurate shipment visibility.
• Process ocean and air freight shipments, including arrival notices, dispatch, freight releases, and required documentation according to client-specific SOPs.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, operator notes, billing, and freight payment requests while protecting cost and revenue accruals.
• Review daily reports, identify potential issues affecting KPIs, and promptly escalate shipment delays or operational concerns to the appropriate teams.

Candidates for Logistics Specialist must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• 6+ months of experience using CargoWise
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate data, documentation, and shipment records.
• Ability to follow client-specific SOPs, EDI requirements, and internal procedures while managing multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, carriers, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced logistics environment.
