Spectrum’s Field Operations business unit

Our Field Operations team is responsible for building, upgrading, maintaining, and connecting customers to our advanced, always on, hybrid coaxial-fiber (HFC) and fiber network.

AVP Field Operations – Northern Ohio

(Note: This position is based in Streetsboro, OH and requires travel throughout Ohio and small portions of western PA/NY.

The AVP Field Operations is responsible for a workforce of over 500 employees, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and ready to deliver exceptional service.


Major Responsibilities

  • Oversees all field service, plant maintenance and construction activities for the Eastern NY Area
  • Develop and execute plans to achieve operational and financial goals and standards set by regional and corporate leadership.
  • Develop appropriate staffing, work productivity, and quality standards to ensure high level of network reliability and customer service.
  • Ensure engaged workforce by maintaining morale
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal requirements
  • Coordinate with regional, corporate and cross-business unit partners to ensure company-wide goals are met
  • Manage complex projects to ensure timelines and flawless execution are obtained.
  • Manage disaster recovery to ensure prompt service restoration.
  • Review and analyze Field Ops metrics, evaluate variances and establish appropriate action plans for improvement.
  • Select, develop and maintain excellent talent at all levels in the organization.

The base pay for this position generally is between $158,500.00 and $263,900.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
