We are currently searching for a Deposit Operations Associate to work onsite at our Operations Center in Columbus Grove, OH!
Under the direction of the Deposit Operations Manager, the Deposit Operations Associate performs a wide variety of duties and provides quality service to bank customers of all subsidiaries in an efficient and professional manner. This includes but is not limited to reviewing and reconciling Deposit Operations reports, assisting internal and external customers, performing account maintenance and research, monitoring disputed transactions, processing wire transfers and investigating non-posted transactions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Deposit Operations:
  • Reviews daily deposit operations reports for the financial institution. Prepares reports on variances, discrepancies and other deposit operations issues for the Deposit Operations Manager.
  • Assists both internal and external customers with Deposit Operational needs.
  • Assists with daily departmental common tasks such as but not limited to processing wire transfers, stop payments, account maintenance, debit card maintenance, reconciling non-posted items and performing account verifications.
  • Collaborates with the Accounting Department to reconcile accounts and input general ledger entries.
  • Actively participates in and attends all required company and department meetings and training courses.
  • Assists Deposit Operations Manager with other daily/weekly/monthly/annual duties as necessary.

Operations:
  • Keep abreast of changes in products, policies and procedures, and attend training as needed. Communicate training needs with the Deposit Operations Manager.
  • Assists Deposit Operations Manager with other daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational duties as assigned.

Customer Service:
  • Assists internal and external customers with resolution of account maintenance and other deposit operations related issues.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year experience in related position in a financial institution preferred.
  • Must have the capacity to work under stress, the ability to multi-task, and ability to handle difficult situations in a professional and respectful manner.
