We are currently seeking:
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Reports to Maintenance Manager
Classification: Hourly, non-exempt
Remote Work Status: Does not apply
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician ensures the efficient operation of all machinery and mechanical equipment. The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician are to perform facilities maintenance and other assigned responsibilities that are critical to maintaining production operations, product quality and equipment safety.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on conveyors, motors, pneumatic cylinders and production machines
  • Must be capable of following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications as well as troubleshooting malfunctions
  • Responsible for diagnosis, repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and equipment
  • As needed, capable of fabricating equipment parts by setting up and operating shop equipment
  • Maintain equipment, parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed equipment, parts and supplies
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Contribute to team effort by safely accomplishing related responsibilities
  • Ability to diagnose root causes through 5-Why analysis
  • Continuous Improvement of equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills amp; Abilities:
  • Capability of independently performing various preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and related activities per requirements
  • Ability to prioritize work schedules to execute in order of importance
  • Ability to navigate through a tablet and proficiency with MS Office programs
Education amp; Experience:
  • High School/GED or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
  • Associate degree in a related field or the completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred
  • Journeyman preferred
  • Welding and fabricating experience strongly preferred
  • 3 years of progressive experience in a related field strongly preferred
  • General knowledge of GD amp;T strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
Positions at CW may require the following: alternating between sitting and standing; climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolding or ramps; crouching/stooping; driving; near/far visual acuity; fine motor manipulation; gross motor manipulation; hearing; keyboarding; kneeling; lifting/carrying; moving objects; peripheral visual acuity; pushing or pulling; reaching overhead or below; repetitive task performance; sitting; speaking; standing; using foot or leg controls; walking.
Environmental Requirements
Our manufacturing facility is a climate-controlled environment. There is no long-term exposure to dangerously loud noise or extreme temperatures.

Cognitive abilities include executing tasks independently; learning and/or memorizing tasks; maintaining concentration/focus on tasks; working with/in close proximity to, other people.
Attendance Requirements
All hourly team members are expected to report to work and be ready to work at their scheduled start time. It is required that they adhere to and follow the attendance policy(ies).
All salaried team members are expected to perform their duties/responsibilities in a timely manner. Although they may not have set schedules, they are expected to either be at work on a schedule agreed upon by their manager or be available via phone/text/Teams if working remotely (Remote work does not apply to CWM positions).
