Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help grow and maintain relationships within the Central Texas commercial construction market of, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, and Fort Worth. You will report to the Operations Manager and take full responsibility for the entire sales process to further increase sales for the Company. We seek candidates who are dedicated, talented and driven to success. As a sales representative, you will use your strong relationship development and communication skills to generate new business and provide best-in-class service to our new and existing customers.

Essential Job Functions:

Maintain relationships and provide excellent customer service for existing customers.
Maintain superior product knowledge in all areas of products and services.
Establish and build new business relationships with prospective customers to grow the business.
Provide product pricing, literature, safety data documentation and all related materials to existing and prospective customers.
Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales call, presentations, and closed sales.
Work closely with estimators, regional managers and construction managers to assure the integrity of the quotes prepared for each market.
Conduct cold calls, schedule appointments, and aggressively prospect new clients.

Qualifications/Skills:

Proven results in sale of building materials
Strong planning, time management and organizational skills
Strong negotiations skills
Ability to build and work within a small team.
Ability to develop new business.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and specifications to prepare product bids.
