Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated intern to join our WiseEye AI team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AI and edge computing, developing and optimizing machine learning models for deployment on edge devices. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers and product managers to develop new use cases on edge AI, gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technologies, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that drive our company's success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with product management and system platform teams to define, create, implement, optimize, and deploy machine learning models on edge devices to realize new use cases.
  2. Conduct research and experimentation to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and performance of AI models in resource-constrained environments.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, hardware engineers, software developers, and AI engineers, to integrate AI models into edge computing platforms and products.

 

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self- motivated and has strong interests in edge AI computing.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++, or TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deep learning techniques.
  • Experience in tiny machine learning models and deployment of AI models on edge is a plus.
  • Experience in MCU development is a plus.

 

Duration and Location: This is a 3-month, full time remote or hybrid work position with limited travel to Irvine, CA.
