Alogent is headquartered in Peachtree Corners, GA, with employees across the United States. We are looking for an energetic, tech-savvy Sales Engineer to join our Sales Support team!

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Product Demonstrations online and on-site and address highly technical questions
  • Actively participate in the sales discovery process
  • Position Alogent products vs. our competition in highly competitive sales cycles
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our prospects and clients
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features on all Alogent products
  • Maintain and update sales demo system with the latest software
  • Work with Sales Personnel to provide product, business, and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities
  • Liaison with Product Managers and Development to understand details of product direction: design and communication of information back to sales organization
  • Responsible for staying abreast of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features, and functions within each product and how these are applied to address business and technical problems. This includes interacting with Product Management and Development on an on-going basis to stay current
  • Attend conferences and work with Subject Matter Experts
  • Responsible for staying current on the competitive landscape and understanding differentiators between Alogent and its competitors
  • Responsible for preparing for meetings and tailoring communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process
  • Understand the changing needs of a Credit Union / Bank and how existing (and future) Alogent products can help bridge gaps and streamline processes
  • Report potential product gaps or potential beneficial enhancements to Product Management as these discoveries are made in the market

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of document management and check processing in the financial institution market
  • Ideal candidate has 5 plus years of experience in the fintech industry serving in the credit unions or community banks space
  • Ability to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong presentation skills in front of audiences or over videoconferencing
  • Must have demonstrated success working responsibly and effectively in home office environment and ability to travel independently
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Ability to understand business processes and business problems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to understand data relationships and how data can be used to solve business problems
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to represent multiple subjects and products
  • Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements
  • Ability to develop a broad awareness of the client's technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible
  • Problem solver who takes initiative to get things done, and enthusiastic go getter
  • Knowledge of strategic, conceptual, consultative selling
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed
