Job Description
The Technical Support Analyst will provide technical knowledge and support in the installation and operation of networked computers and network resources and the Telecom systems. This role will also be responsible for:
- Installing and maintenance of software and hardware on workstations.
- Providing Technical assistance to MMC Community and affiliates.
- Maintains records of work activities and documents recurring, difficult or complex problems; identifies trends, recommends solutions and resources.
- Maintaining work tickets with Help Desk ticketing system.
- Implementation of network and systems security posture.
- Performing Imaging and restoration of systems.
- Asset Management and Inventory tracking.
- Performing Networking, WIFI, and VOIP systems support.
- Maintaining classroom technologies.
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
Salary: $50,000
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or Technical Certificates and 2 years’ experience in the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Or – Associate Degree or Technical Certificates and 3 or more experience in the duties and responsibilities specified.
Other Requirements:
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and facilities
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot computer network hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Knowledge of Operating Systems, Windows, MAC, and Linux.
- General knowledge of Audio/Video systems and Academic related software packages
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Supporting supervisors with Technical and related matters.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
- Knowledge of Communication Systems such as MS Teams, ZOOM, etc.
- Knowledge of Productivity and Creative Software: MS Office suite, Adobe Suite, etc.
- Knowledge of storage systems: Box, MS Onedrive, Local File servers.
- Independently solve and document hardware/software problems.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Knowledge of basic mobile and smart devices
- Familiarity with the fundamental principles of ITIL and ITSM.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on support building, listening, and questioning skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
