Job Description

Job Title: Part-time Public Events Coordinator


Location: Fort Worth, TX 


Hours: Flexible, Monday - Friday (16-20 hours per week)


Pay: $18.66/hr


 


We are seeking a Part-time Public Events Coordinator who will be responsible in organizing and supporting events across our Client’s various facilities. This individual will oversee everything from planning to execution, ensuring it aligns with the facility's guidelines and stays within budget. Excellent interpersonal skills are crucial for working with both internal teams and external partners.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand event requirements and create detailed plans.

  • Manage vendors and services for event preparation, support, and monitoring.

  • Obtain necessary permits and handle fee collection, if required.

  • Work with the Communications team to promote events and related services.

  • Assist in implementing event goals and adhering to organizational policies.

  • Monitor event performance and suggest improvements to procedures.

  • Evaluate and improve event service methods.

  • Plan event logistics, conduct facility inspections, and ensure proper setup.

  • Maintain records, oversee inventory, and prepare reports related to event coordination.

  • Supervise event personnel and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

  • Attend events to ensure smooth operations.

  • Participate in budget preparation and monitoring.

  • Stay updated on developments in event coordination.

  • Assist with media relations, as needed.

  • Adhere to assigned work schedules and organizational policies.


 




Requirements:



  • Associate degree in business management, Public Relations, or related field

  • 4 years of experience in event promotion and scheduling.

  • 1+ year of administrative experience.

  • Ability to self-manage and work well in a team.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.

  • Effective resource allocation skills.

  • Ability to interpret event arrangements from drawings.

  • Proficiency in preparing event setup information.

  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records and inventory.
