About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern. The BDR intern will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our company by identifying, qualifying, and generating new business opportunities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our sales and marketing teams to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect leads provided through various lists Squire will provide
- Maintain high levels of prospecting activity (including a minimum of 20 calls and 30 emails daily), targeting decision-makers, up to and including C-Suite Executives
- Build a good foundation of industry competence & create a sales style that will provide credibility when interacting with decision-makers
- Qualify and promote leads to sales with defined next steps
- Manage and prioritize leads to ensure timely follow-up and consistent engagement. Track all interactions and maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or lead generation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with using NetSuite as a CRM software is a plus.
Job Status: Part Time/hourly – this would be a 3-month internship working ~20 hours/week
Work Location: Salt Lake City, UT/Orem, UT/Remote
