Overview:

Westside seeks a dynamic individual passionate about spiritual growth and community for the Speedway Campus Director role, requiring strong leadership and organizational skills to impact our church community.

Key Responsibilities:

· Speedway Campus Shepherd

o Serve as a prominent presence, embodying the essence of the Speedway Campus.

o Conduct Sunday in-service announcements

o Foster congregational growth and community through A2 group participation

o Provide care on weekdays through calls and visitations or coordinate such efforts.

o Demonstrates a deep passion for Student Ministry

· Speedway Campus Oversight & Coordination

o Ensure alignment and unity with Westside mission, vision, values in collaboration with Lenexa leadership

§ Maintain close communication with Next Steps Pastor for supervision and support.

§ Align campus activities with WFC "All-church" seasons, themes, and events.

§ Advocate keeping SW engaged in Next Steps of spiritual growth, with an emphasis on A2 group participation

§ Support and nurture the health and progress of student and kids ministries.

o Foster unity and effectiveness among Speedway campus leaders, Deacons, and influencers.

o Organize SW volunteer teams as necessary

o Oversee any SW “Special Projects” or efforts as needed

o Arrange coordination meetings as required, including participation in periodic Get Connected gatherings.

· Ministries Coordination – Collaborate with “central-support” leadership to enhance communication and effectiveness.

o Ensure warm welcomes for new families during Sunday services.

o Provide guidance and support for Discipleship & A2 groups.

o Champion the direction of the Student, kids and other relevant ministries.
