Field Operations Engineer

The Field Operations Engineer provides technical service and support on water purification equipment with the objectives of minimizing customer downtime, nurturing successful business relationships and generating revenue opportunities for Pureflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ride with field service technician to gain in-depth understanding of existing systems with the goal of expanding your knowledge of service sites.
- Collect and create technical documentation for service sites.
- Assist with troubleshooting existing systems and provide recommendations for solutions.
- Assist with costing/quoting of one-off services and engineering solutions.
- Participate and eventually lead project installation and startups.
- Partner with Engineering to review documentation objectives, goals, and alignment with engineering documentation standardization.
Job Requirements:
Required:
- Associates or Bachelors' degree in mechanical, electrical or engineering field
- Comfort with verbal and telephone communication, with internal and external customers
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic & capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects
- Fluent computer & technology skills (Microsoft Office suite, internet browsing, smart phone & tablet familiarity)
Preferred:
- 3+ years of mechanical or electrical industry experience
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, piping & instrumentation drawings, or electrical diagrams
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical skills
