Job Title: QCS Advanced Field Service Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Model: Full remote
Purpose and Objective:
Honeywell International Inc. seeks a QCS Advanced Field Service Engineer at our Charlotte, NC location to support the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems.

Expectations and Tasks:
Provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers and competitors. Promote revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development. Promote cross-functional groups within the organization to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. Act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Technology, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must include five (5) years involving each of the following:
  • Troubleshooting/maintaining Honeywell Sheet Manufacturing Scanners.
  • Experience must include three (3) years involving each of the following:

  • Troubleshooting/maintaining ABB Sheet Manufacturing Scanners;

  • Producing and reading electrical schematics, network diagrams, and P&IDs;

  • VMWare Virtualization and Cisco Networking;

  • System software installation and configuration; and

  • Application software configuration.

Travel: N/A.
BASE SALARY: $121,139 per year
