CNC Press Brake Operator

Job description

We are seeking a CNC Press Brake Operator to become an integral part of our team! This operator will use specialized CNC equipment to form flat layout metal components to product specifications.

Shift Hours:

(First)

6:00am - 3:00pm (Monday - Thursday) 6:00am - Noon (Friday)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to operate, program, and change out tooling on CNC equipment
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.
• Operate small hand tools such as grinders, buffers, and sanders
• Must be able to stand, lift, and bend to maneuver sheet metal parts to be formed
• Detail duties such as counting and completing documentation
• Ability to read work instructions and department routings
• Inspects parts for conformance to specifications
• Ability to work well with others in your same work area and other departments
• Work in an efficient and timely manner
• Keep work area, including machine surfaces clean at all times.
• Identify areas for process improvement, cost and waste reduction
• Associate must maintain an exceptional attendance record
• The associate is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment; such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.'

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, manual or CNC Forming, or other related fields
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical workload
