Job description

SVS Group is currently looking to hire an Experienced CNC Brake Press Operator for one of our best Manufacturing Clients here in Tempe, AZ on 1st shift. You will have typical Brake Press job duties to include:

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machine setup and production requirements
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures on the press brake machine
  • Adjust machine settings such as speed, depth, and angle of bend to achieve desired results
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and accuracy of bends
  • Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performance

Requirements:

  • You must have at least 3+ years of very recent Brake Press Operating Experience.
  • Proficient in fabricating metal parts using press brake machines
  • Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently using appropriate lifting equipment
  • Knowledge of tooling selection and setup for different metal bending operation
  • You must have outstanding punctuality and attendance
  • You must take direction well and you must get along well with others
  • Operating a Cincinnati CNC Brake Press
  • You must want to work 1st shift
  • 1st Shift - Monday - Thursday 5:00 am - 3:00 pm plus overtime on Saturdays and end of shift as needed.
