Job Summary

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking a Brake Press Operator to join our team in South Bend, IN. In this role, you'll be a vital part of our operations, operating brake press equipment to produce precision metal components while maintaining quality and safety standards. Experience with Bystronic brake press machines is a major plus.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Brake Press Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
-Operating brake press equipment: Set up and operate brake press machinery to bend and form metal parts according to specifications and production requirements.
-Reading blueprints and measurements: Interpret part prints and use calipers and measuring tools to ensure finished products meet quality standards and tolerances.
-Monitoring production quality: Inspect completed parts for accuracy and consistency while making machine adjustments as needed.
-In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work area, follow all company safety procedures, and assist with general production tasks as needed.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:
  • Previous brake press operating experience preferred
  • Experience with Bystronic brake press equipment is highly preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and part prints accurately
