Description

Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We are currently looking for an experienced Press Brake/Shear Operator.

If you have the following qualifications, we are looking for employees like you:

  • Must be able to plan and layout bending sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints or specifications
  • Bend a variety of products or assemblies of small, light to average weight following standard procedures
  • Request assistance on large or heavy sheet metal blanks
  • Setup various types of metal in performing operations in forming. All parts must be bent to close tolerances. Requires aligning, fitting and adjusting parts to meet operating requirements of unit
  • Regularly check product to specifications included in the work order packet. Specific quality checks are required by measuring cutouts, length, width, gauge, and material types
  • Assist Engineering personnel in the modification, parts substitution, and repair
  • May perform minor maintenance procedures
  • Prior forklift experience a plus
  • Blueprint reading experience preferred, but not required
  • Capable of lifting at least 50lbs
  • Excellent attendance is necessary
  • Team player mentality
