Job description

We are hiring an experienced Shear and Brake Operator for a full-time position in Orlando. Candidates must have previous shear and brake experience and be able to read a tape measure accurately

Shear and Brake Operator – 1st Shift
Location: Orlando, FL
Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
Responsibilities
• Operate shear and brake machines
• Read shop drawings and work orders
• Measure, cut, and bend metal materials
• Change dies when needed
• Use an overhead crane to move materials
• Check finished parts for correct measurements
• Inspect machines before use
• Follow all safety procedures
• Keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications
• Two to three years of shear and brake experience required
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
• Experience reading shop drawings
• Knowledge of shears, brakes, and overhead cranes
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, pull, and lift during the shift
• Reliable attendance and transportation required
