About the Role:
Wizard Cooling Inc is looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team in West Falls, NY! In this hands-on role, you'll operate Brake Press and Laser CNC equipment to help produce high-quality components that keep our customers running cool. Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC Brake Press and Laser cutting machines for production runs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate part fabrication
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance
  • Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to programs or tooling
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality goals
  • Ability to streamline operations in department
Requirements:
  • Prior experience operating LVD CNC Brake Press and/or CNC Laser cutting equipment required
  • Comfortable on a PC
  • Understanding of the LVD software (Cadman-B)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication processes, materials, and tolerances
  • Ability to work independently and maintain consistent quality in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical training in machining is a plus
  • Previous brake press experience required
