Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Tester for our client close to Decatur, AL. You will perform a variety of operational functions in various types of weld preparation, welding as and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings and specifications. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading automotive manufacturer while building your long-term career.

Responsibilities
  • Must have some welding knowledge.
  • Must be able to perform visual inspection using basic measuring tools.
  • Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
  • Must have attention to detail will be testing pipes and looking for leaks.
  • Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
  • Must have a working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing
Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties
  • Minimum some welding knowledge
  • High School Diploma/GED or graduation from certified technical school.
  • Must accurately read tape measure (assessment given).
  • Strong work ethic, good attendance, and ability to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work occasional overtime.
  • Steel-toed boots required.
  • Must pass background & drug screening.
Schedule & Pay

  • Shift: 2nd, Shift – Monday–Friday 1:30 PM –1:00 PM. Will Train on 1st Shift 7AM-3:30PM

  • Pay: $19-$20.00/hr
