As a Brake Press Operator, you will be part of our growing Pittsburgh manufacturing team, our career track allows your performance to allow you to earn career progress incentives!
Shift:
Sunday - Wednesday: 5am - 3:30pm or 3pm - 1:30am
Wednesday - Saturday: 5am - 3:30pm or 3pm - 1:30am
Monday - Friday: 7am - 3:30pm
Job Description:
The experienced Brake Press Operator we seek must have a strong safety focus and technical aptitude, as well as a strong work ethic, adaptability and eye for detail. You'll produce parts for assembly operations forming aluminum and stainless steel using a hydraulic brake press, performing spot inspections of parts and adjusting speed and material flow to ensure top quality and meet our customer specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prior experience with reading drawings, selecting proper tooling, and holding parts within close tolerances is essential
  • Prior experience running a brake press/CNC or heavy machinery is required; programming experience preferred
  • Employee must be able to use both hands to control equipment and material used in the production process
  • Ability to perform reading, writing, and math functions
  • Basic computer navigation and data entry skills
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift at least 50 pounds
