The base salary range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00 hourly.

Set sail for a new adventure with Auberge Resorts. This role embodies the curious nature of modern-day explorers as they guide our guests through picturesque waters near and around the resort. 

• Responsible for the safe and timely operation of the vessel(s).
• Inspects the vessel(s) to ensure safety and compliance with the appropriate parties.
• Overall command and control of the navigation, maneuvering, stowage, and communication as applicable by law.
• Maintain all onboard equipment and keep detailed records of daily activities, personnel reports, and weather conditions.
• Must thoroughly love the outdoors, teaching and being with people. 
• The ideal candidate is friendly, patient, thoughtful, and helpful.

• 4-5 years experience on a boat with progressive responsibilities.
• Firm knowledge of marine communication, signaling and navigation.
• Ability to multitask, including administrative duties.
• United States Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Master Credential 50 Tons or greater upon near coastal waters.
• Marine Radio Operator Permit.
• FIRST AID / CPR certified.
• Current Department of Transportation TWIC card.
• Expert knowledge and experience maneuvering and maintaining boats.
• Previous experience in Hawaiian waters and deep-sea fishing is highly preferred.
