Here at Big Frog Aurora, we are part of the community. We are looking for a friendly Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills and attention to detail, who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services, and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Our store is small, and all of us work together. You will be expected to:

• Greet and direct customers

• Provide information to customers about our product and service offerings

• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing

• Cross-sell products

• Ensure racks are fully stocked

• Manage returns of merchandise

• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager

• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

• Work with customers to create designs they love

• Order production & fulfillment

Skills

• Familiar with PhotoShop or CorelDraw

• Proven work experience in Retail or as a Sales Associate (or similar role)

• Excellent communication skills and work ethic

• Warm, friendly and cheerful personality

• Create Print Ready Artwork for Customers using Adobe Illustrator Photoshop/Corel DRAW

• Need basic knowledge of design software including Adobe Suite and/or Corel DRAW

• Manage and monitor daily retail operations per system procedures

• Maintain a clean and orderly retail environment

• Manage customer transactions including: generating quotations and invoices, generating artwork, printing production, and on-time fulfillment

• Manage customer correspondences such as but not limited to phone and email

• Shipping and receiving (must be able to lift 40 lbs)

• Order inventory and maintain minimum required levels

• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly marketing efforts including but not limited to: direct mailings, festival participation, social media networking, etc.

Job Types: Part-Time 

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
